The Government establishes two Negotiation Committees

One committee will be responsible for continuing negotiations on insolvency matters related to deposit holders in branches of Landsbanki in the UK and Netherlands (Icesave) and Kaupthing Branch in Germany (Edge). The other is responsible for finalizing issues regarding foreign loans as a part of the IMF economic programme for Iceland.
